Guess Whose Bizzack!!!

I know you guys are like what the heck where did she go. Well I actually have a good excuse….. I did the Master Cleanse again and let’s just say this time I was a bit grumpy and definite sign my body was detoxing. I will have all the details and some more tips for you later.

I also have been wash and go crazy and have almost used up my second 32 oz jar of my Eco Styler gel. I also have been on a budget and been very creative whipping up some awesome DTs with coconut milk and oil.

Copy of see thru sparkle

I wish I could say the same about my Oyin products…I’m not really having much success.

I’m also working on my fall regimen so D&C University will be back in session. It’s already getting cold and windy, hence this is the Windy City so I need to calm down on the gels and put more butters and creamy products in my reggie.

Well I gotta get to all this blogging… and don’t forget to comment, send any questions, or even share your experiences.

More Eco Styling

Hi there curlies,

Today I co-washed for the last time with my GVP Tea Tree Oil Condish (something just isn’t right about this stuff). Then I did my version of a plop to dry my hair some with hopes of bigger hair (my wash and go’s tend to have less volume).  Instead on a leave in a used Hollywood Beauty Olive Creme just to see if there was any difference. I applied the Eco Styler Olive Oil Gel (which I can’t stand the smell). I used a shingling method on medium sized sections then proceeded with a banana clip style that I have rocked almost all weekend.  I’m really loving this clip works great for work or partying and doesn’t take long to do.

Well here go the results and please ignore my cheap foundation:

Banana Clip Do 1

Banana Clip Do 3

Banana Clip Do 4

This gel is definately a keeper almost a HG. I just can’t let go of my KCCC. Eco Styler is consistant and doesn’t flake or leave build up. My hair is also moisturized and soft when it gets old and after rinsing it out. Feel free to share your eco styling stories and cocktails.

Eco Styling Success

So it official… I lovvvvvvvvvvvvve Eco Styler gels. I used the clear one all weekend. Even used it on hair I had plopped dry and my curls were still popping. I even found a few new styles I have to share with you guys this week. I think its finally time to do some vids and tuts.

BTW the Krystal Eco Styler gets 4.5 out of 5 diamonds. It smells a lot better than  the Olive Oil one and its clear so it doesn’t have blue #40 and what not.

I even made my first official pineapple and that made for 3rd day hair. I will also share a tut on that this week for all hair lengths.

This week should be fun guys I will be purchasing so trader Joe’s and Oyin products maybe some Qhemet too. So stay tuned I plan to do some vids or pictorials on how to sleep with KCCC or curls period, my bantu knot outs, flat twists, and some wash and go styles. I might do an amla vid too depending on how everything goes.

Almond Breeze Rando

Good morning curlies,

This has nothing to do with hair but today I tired Almond Breeze Vanilla Milk instead of soy milk. All I can say is I think I have found the holy grail of milk substitutes. There was no after taste or chalkiness. I actually drink the rest of the milk in the bowl which I would never do with soy milk. I’m so excited I plan to try the chocolate one next. I love chocolate milk but since completing the master cleanse I have not messed with dairy products.

I know that was really random but I am a pretty random person sometimes. I really recommend this to people that don’t care for soy milk or just want a milk alternative. Its also on sale at Whole Foods.

Well btyl (blog to ya later…yes I did just make that up).  Stay tuned I plan to try the Krystal Eco Styler today with my GVP Conditioning Balm in hopes of achieving a cute club style. I don’t have time to let my regular party style of a bantu knot out to dry allllll day.

Eco Styler Sidebar

I’m reallllly loving this stuff. My hair has looked so fab for it to be 2nd day hair. The curl definition is amazing and my hair isn’t crunchy (thanks to some coconut oil). I can’t wait to use this again but I have some more experimenting to do as well as more product reviews.

Stay tuned….I’m doing a flat twist out with the GVP Conditioning Balm (Matrix Biolage generic) and Herbal Essence’s Totally Twisted Gel.

What I think: This gel gets 2 thumbs and a curl up. I’m currently rocking second day hair which looks even better. I have less shrinkage than KCCC and because it was only $3.50 I wasn’t afraid to use the correct amount of product on my hair. I was a little less crunch than KCCC but the results are very similar. I won’t be getting rid of my Kinky Curly products but when my money is low Eco Styler will be my back up. I have two 32 0z jars so it might be a while before I go back to KCCC. I used the Knot Today as my leave in but I do plan to see how it works with other conditioners. This product is wayyyyyyyy better than IC Fantastia gels as well. I don’t have build up and my hair feels so light like its nothing even there. I was able to soften my hair up when I refreshed it with water and smooth coconut oil all over. Its something about PVP and glycerin my hair loves when it comes to gels. I will definately re-purchase.

Rating: 4 diamonds

1 diamond for price (any cheaper just ain’t right)

1/2 diamond for smell (I don’t care for the smell but it goes away once its dry.)

1/2 diamond for ingredients (there is a lot of good stuff in it but also some things I can’t pronounce)

1 diamond for performance (hence 2nd day happy hair)

1 diamond for moisture (it feels soft and moist but not sure until I wash it out)
